About Us

We are a two-partner firm of specialist rail industry Solicitors established in 1997 specifically to provide legal services for rail industry clients. Our partners are Sara Hollingworth and Helen Bissell, both of whom worked as Solicitors for the British Railways Board before and throughout rail privatisation. The majority of our clients are still from within the rail industry, although we now also provide tailored legal and consultancy services to the public and commercial sectors on rail, retail and transport related matters.

For almost 30 years, the firm and both partners have been recognised as leaders in their field within the rail industry, having worked on numerous projects of national significance. We have recently been named as Railway Law Firm of the Year in England 2025 by Corporate INTL Magazine Global Awards.
